Tulia Trust Weaving Industry Support
Tulia Trust empowers women, persons with disabilities, and individuals with albinism through its Weaving Industry Support Programme. This initiative aims to provide marginalized groups with opportunities to develop practical skills, access quality materials, and create marketable woven products. By combining traditional weaving techniques with modern designs, beneficiaries are able to preserve cultural heritage while generating sustainable incomes.
The programme also connects artisans to local and international markets, enabling them to reach a wider customer base and gain fair value for their work.
